About Mill Close

Our traditional farmhouse retains its original character and is decorated with quality furnishings and antiques.

Our home dates from the early 15th century when it was part of the Hornby Castle Estate, later belonging to the Duke of Leeds.

Mill Close has been farmed by the Knox family since the turn of the century. A cluster of stone buildings surrounds the farmhouse, which has commanding views of the Moors & Dales.

In our family home we endeavour to provide an undisturbed retreat, with a warm and friendly ambience complimented by a high level of quality and comfort.

The farmhouse is surrounded by a large secluded garden. A terraced area leads to a walled garden with pond, waterfall and patio where guests can enjoy a wealth of garden birds. If you're feeling energetic try a nature walk round our three acre fishing lake
